Location - Pleasanton, CA
Start date - November for a few small projects, then big initiative will start Dec/January - project will last 1 year with very high potential for extension
Person will be interacting with the CIO
Interview process - phone screen with Accenture, then phone screen with end client
-will need to configure, doing a network refresh on specifically Cisco 6500
-will be doing config on the switch itself
-responsible for status updates/program management. extremely high profile as every time the person will be working, the network will be down for 30 seconds at a time.
-Network Service management - a nice to have
-Motorola wireless - a nice to have
SCOPE - It's a refresh of the core network. 3 corporate sites. High visibility because of the risk to the business of taking the network offline during cutover. Part of a number of efforts in maintaining and modernizing the network to support business growth.
