Key things : Must have stong MS distributed servcies:OS 2008,2012, exchange etc. SAN, VMware, BES, Mobile Iron. These are Key. The person must have built these out from scratch setting up clustering ,High Availability with DR side for all of these, some networking switches ( even if he does not have strong networking if fine) Person should have worked with top technolies such as MS, VMware, storage, movility, web filtering like websense, alerting tool ( Orion)
Summary: This position is part of the IT Infrastructure team. The core purpose of this role is to perform and oversee the day to day operations of the Network Infrastructure, handling of escalated Level 1 tickets, perform preliminary trouble shooting of network / systems issues.
As a key member of the team you will be directly responsible for the successful implementation and support of the environment. Communication in a clear, concise and professional manner is an absolute must. This will be a fast paced environment and the ability to multitask and prioritize complex work whilst paying attention to the details will be critical to your success.

Required Core Competencies:
. Progressive Systems Engineering experience and strong knowledge of Windows and related Microsoft technologies including but not limited to; Exchange, SQL, IIS, ISA, Proxy, Windows 7 / 8, Windows 2003, 2008, MS Clustering.
. Hands on experience and solid understanding of network infrastructure switching and routing, DNS, DHCP, TCPIP, WINS & Active Directory.
. Managing Checkpoint, Cisco Adaptive Security Appliances & Sonicwall firewalls.
. Experience with network backup software/hardware, backup strategies and application of such.
. Experience with SQL management and administration.
. Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as IpMonitor, Orion etc.
. Familiarity with network administration tool s, such as backup software, anti-virus software, inventory software and service desk tools such as LANDesk, CA service desk etc.
. Ability to communicate clearly both internally as a member of the team to management.
. Ability to write, prepare and maintain consistent network / systems documentation.
. Knowledge and experience on SAN / NAS devices a must.
. Command line scripting & PowerShell experience
. Ongoing capacity planning

. The candidate must be well versed with the advanced engineering and administration of multi-protocol routers, multilayer switches, network security devices and networ k management systems. Solid understanding of LAN/WAN protocols and topologies. For
example: TCP/IP,DNS,DHCP,BGP,ACL's,OSPF,RIP,EIGRP,VLANS,HSRP,NAT,PAT,IPSEC,MPLS,WCCP,GRE,NETFLOW,STP,CDP
. Strong understanding of security technologies and strategies, including some of the following: security investigations, firewall, IPS/IDS, policy management, security processes/best-practice, logging/monitoring, antivirus, and vulnerability assessment
. Ability to develop and promote information security policies and standards. Consult with other IT teams and business units regarding risks, standards of due care and appropriate information safeguards
. Provides Systems support and maintenance for all network and related information technology assets
. Proactively monitors infrastructure metrics to help mitigate performance issues. Make assessments and recommendations for improvement to provide resilient and scalable data center solutions
. Monitor firewalls, review VPN, intrusion detection and domain controller audit logs for malicious activity and anomalies
. Experience with enterprise level storage area networks (ISCSI, Fibre channel, Raid Arrays, FCIP, FCOE, LUN masking, Zoning, thin provisioning, snapshots, CIFS, NAS)
. Extensive experience with VMware 4.x and 5.x virtualization technologies and best practices (VCenter, DRS, HA, VMotion, VSwitches, virtual distributed switches, raw devices, datastores, VMware converter, host profiles and update manager)
. Develops strategies and direction for network and related IT infrastructure solutions using current and emerging technologies. Responsible for high level Data Center planning, design and optimization activities
. Experience with enterprise-wide DLP implementations
. Experience with perimeter-based content management and threat protection utilizing proxy technologies as well as zero-day threat di scovery and prevention
. Perform Penetration & Vulnerability scanning and remediation
. Experience with Network access control technologies
. Experience with wireless technologies (wireless access points and controllers, 802.1X, encryption, radius)
