Job Title: UI / UX Developer
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: Long-term
Must 8+ years
User stories:
• Create research-derived task flows and screen flows as mockups, wireframes, and prototypes in collaboration with user researchers, product managers, engineers, and UI developers.
• Collaborate with user researchers, product managers, and others to intentionally design interactions based on user research results, business requirements, and common Cisco design standards.
• Build prototypes from low-fidelity to high-fidelity (Experience with Sketch and InVision a plus)
• Ensure all design artifacts are created on time
• Presentation skills: Able to explain projects and User Centric Design practices to narrow and broad audiences
• Project Plan: Work with PM to provide proper estimates for time of UE work
• Balancing User Needs and compromises
• Participate in Design Reviews
• Define visual design based on branding and UI standards
• Design QA (aka redline testing and review) and sanity checks on functionality
• Support UI QA and UAT
• Contribute to and make use of a UI component library; Identifying components to be reused and components to be built
