Note: Need only Locals or nearby states Consultants. Must be available to start on Monday.

 

Short Description:

ADP Reporting is delivering high priority Adhoc Reporting solutions

for podification of HR Benefits Product database. This initiative

requires hiring one experienced ORACLE developer who can help in

development and rollout of the solutions.

Complete Description:

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Developer with in-depth

knowledge of oracle pl/sql, unix shell scripting concepts, Oracle data

modeling and design concepts. The candidate is responsible for

developing solutions using oracle pl/sql, VPD and unix shell

scripting.

*   Understand business requirements, analyze existing code, and

write functional and technical specifications; plan own work,

coordinate and communicate with others.

 *   Create database table structures, Views,, complex stored

procedures, relational database design, SQL and PL/SQL tuning,

triggers, XML, Oracle Utilities (SQL Loader, Export/Import, etc)

 *   Code and develop various PL/SQL packages, functions, procedures,

Test and validate them for production deployment.

 *   Develop scripts to load test data in oracle.

 *   Create and maintain UNIX shell scripts and procedures to deploy

oracle objects into UAT and Production Environments..

 *   Contribute ideas to improve performance, functionalities and maintenance

 *   Demonstrates competency in performance tuning, execution plan

analysis and statistics monitoring

*   5-8 years experience in Oracle RDBMS (9i through 10g) and its companion

technologies (Advanced Security, PL/SQL, Job scheduling, Advanced Queues, VPD)

 *   5+ years of  PL/SQL experience on complex and large scale

enterprise projects.

 *   4+ years of hands-on database development experience in high

volume transaction systems

 *   2 + years of Unix Shell Script experience

 *   2+ years of  performance tuning, query optimization

Qualifications

5-8 years experience as a Oracle developer on Enterprise wide

Information Technology projects. BS in Computer Science/MIS or

equivalent. Background in   Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL and UNIX shell

scripting is a must.   Must have excellent communication skills and

the ability to work independently.
