QA Analyst with Batch / Interface and Reporting

Rate: $35/hr

Primary Skills: QA Analyst with Batch / Interface and Reporting Testing Experience

 

Description:

ROLE: QA Analyst with Batch / Interface and Reporting Testing Experience

REQUIRED SKILLS:

·         Looking for a quality assurance tester with at least 3 years of testing experience.

·         Candidate must have specific experience validating batch and interface functionality as well as validating online functionality.

·         Strong experience using PL/SQL Developer (10g and 11i) Tool to develop and optimize complex SQL queries used for testing purposes.

·         Ability to validate data migration scripts and execute them in the PL / SQL Command Window.

·         Ability to execute batch interface processes through UNIX Cron tasks / jobs and analyze results/issues.

·         Experience with OpCon XPS Batch Scheduler Automation Tool to execute batch processes and create batch schedules.

·         Experience with Crystal Reports 8.5 Reporting Tool to validate the reporting templates against the SQL Database to ensure the correctness and completeness of the reports.

·         Strong experience validating the functionality of a web-based application

 

PREFERRED SKILLS:
Having a Public Sector Domain background is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Test responsibilities include reviewing system requirements/design, developing a testing strategy, developing test cases, executing test cases, and working with developers to resolve issues.

System Test Completion
