Position: Java Developer

Location: Madison, WI

Duration: 6 Months

 

Client is currently seeking candidates for multiple Java Developer positions with a client located in Madison, WI.  Qualified candidates will have a minimum of two (2) years experience creating low level software primarily in Java/J2EE for an ISP environment with legacy primarily based in Java, C and PHP.  Candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability to learn and adapt to a fast paced environment.  This is a six (6) month contract

 

Candidates MUST have the following technical qualifications:

 

§          J2EE - JBOSS 

§          Oracle 10g and 11g

§          JBoss 4.2

§          Struts, Spring and JSP

§          Hibernate 3.x and JMS

§          ANT 1.6

§          J2EE 1.5

§          J2SE 1.6 (Sun Certified a Plus)

§          Design Patterns

§          Subversion

§          SOAP

§          Maven

§          MySQL

§          LDAP

§          Proficient in SQL (Oracle SQL, MySQL SQL, PL/SQL and Data Modeling a plus)

§          Documentation tools - Visio, Word, etc.

§          Firm grasp of multi-threading techniques

§          Strong project management, communication and documentation skills

Location: Madison, WI

Duration: 6 Months

 

 

--Java EE: Servlets, Filters, Listeners, JAX-RS, JAX-WS.
--Web Technologies: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, HTTP protocol
--Database: DB2, SQL, JDBC, Hibernate ORM
--Frameworks: Spring technologies, Google Web Toolkit, EXT GWT
--Development: Rational Application Developer v7 (Eclipse)
