Program Management
• Responsible for program and quality of delivery to customer from original concept through final implementation.
• Anticipates clients needs and proposes appropriate solutions.
• Insures program deliverables are on time and on budget while meeting customer satisfaction expectations.
• Clearly understands program and project roles and definition of each member in order to effectively manage the activities of the team.
• Manages the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of program(s), multiple or large scale projects.
• Reviews high-level deliverables across projects.
• Implements project management and software development life cycle procedures.
• Mitigates risk and manages issues across program.
• Manages scope and change across projects opening and quickly.
• Accurately forecasts, reports and manages costs for program.
• Provides reliable top-down and bottom-up estimates as is necessary.
• Exhibits excellence in all aspects of business, program and project management.
• Possesses the expert knowledge to identify opportunities for change and the ability to convey the need for change.
• Helps to determine ways to employ teams on projects and distribute responsibilities.
• Easily recognizes areas for improvement and develops plans for implementation.
• Lends expertise to teams and task forces.
• Complies with and enforces standard policies and procedures.
• May have experience in one or more of the following management consulting capabilities: Strategy Development, Human Capital Design, Transition Management (Acquisitions and Divestitures), Business Process Redesign.
Relationship Management
• Effectively communicates program expectations, goals, priorities, scope and status to all program stakeholders.
• Effectively communicates relevant program/project information to all stakeholders both on a pre-scheduled basis and on an as-needed basis.
• Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized business solutions and presentations.
• Facilitates program-level and client meetings.
• Desire to adapt to client environment, standards and methods.
• Mentors less experienced project/program managers or those aspiring to move into the PM/PgM role.
• Maintains ongoing communication with Account, Engagement and Performance Managers.
• Understands and proactively participates in all levels of CSA2.
