Position  : PL/SQL Developer
Location : Boston, MA
Duration : 7 Months Contract

 

Must Have :
5-8 years of overall pl/sql development experience
Solid understanding of financial asset classes (Equity and Fixed Income and derivatives) as well as typical buy-side trading workflows.
Exposure to Financial Compliance Systems (Charles River, Eze Castle Software, Fidessa Latent Zero etc.)
Good PL/SQL development skills in Sybase or Oracle. Preferred to have a candidate with Sybase but relevant exposure to Oracle is acceptable.
Performance tuning of stored procedure(s).
 
Role:
The developer will work with the team to develop compliance rules stored procedures for our back log SCRs. The candidate exposure to financial systems and instruments will help as he/she may need to explain the requirement to a BA team member who may not be exposed to financial systems. Also, prior exposure to compliance systems may help us elevate some of the performance issues that we currently have.
