Senior SSIS Developer

Work Location   Bentonville, AR

Duration              6+ months

Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills 

• Experience in optimizing SSIS Package for performance and implement error handling solution

• Experience in writing .NET scripts using SSIS Script component if required.

• Experience working with normalized and star schema databases

• Experience weighing the tradeoffs between bulk inserts and single updates in database and ETL processes for speed optimization.

• Knowledge of data conversion, data validation and SQL Performance techniques

Roles and responsibility               

• Design, develop and troubleshoot SSIS packages that implement complex ETL Processes

• Full development cycle around real time integration with ETL and SQL Server

• Has the ability to work effectively with others and good interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work from business requirements to solution.

• Experience working with offshore SSIS developers and help them with SSIS packages and queries

• Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills with the ability to formulate and communicate recommendations for improvement.

• Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

• Excellent time management, planning and organization skills

Desirable Technical / Functional Skills     

• Ability to lead teams and to multi-task in a fast paced environment and act with a sense of urgency

• Contribute individually with minimal supervision and as part of a team

• Microsoft certification on SQL Server and SQL Server Business intelligence would be an added advantage."
