Duration: 4+ Months Contract
.Net/ SQL Engineer
• .NET development experience including C#, MVC 3.0
• Scripting experience (Javascript, Ruby, Perl, Python)
• Solid SQL experience (at least 2 years working with either Oracle or SQL Server).
• Solid working experience with RDBMS programming language (at least 2 years with T-SQL or PL-SQL).
• Knowledge of Data Warehouse or OLAP concept.
• Good working experience with ETL, have dealt problems with loading Dimension/ Fact tables, De-duplicate source data.
• Good working experience with XML (X-Query will be a plus).
• Solid working experience in following specific SQL area:
o Analytic Functions (not just standard Group By, but also "SQL Window sort" - OVER PARTITION BY).
o Solid DDL knowledge to support schematic change.
o Using CTE and recursive SQL in SQL Server.
o SQL Server BCP, Bulk Insert, SSIS.
o Dynamic SQL, including passing and receiving value to and from Dynamic SQL string.
o Solid Performance tuning knowledge and good understanding Query Plan.
o Stored Procedure and Functions.
• Beginning to Intermediate MS DOS command.
• Communicate well with users.
