Senior Software Engineer (PL/SQL)

Contract to hire or Full time

 

Senior Software Engineer (PL/SQL) – 2 positions now available

 

As for the Sr. SE position (PL/SQL) the hiring managers are looking for candidates who can also come in and take on a more of a leadership role so they would need to have previous experience leading a team or project. 

 

Responsibilities:

·         Participate in the requirements analysis and detail design of object oriented software applications

·         Analyze business systems requirements and design technical solutions based on those requirements

·         Develop and support new software applications

·         Design, document, test, and implement application features and enhancements

·         Contribute to software development process standards

·         Develop Oracle PL/SQL procedures and packages

·         Develop technical specification documents

·         Support and enhance existing programs and modules

·         Participate in code reviews

·         Assisting Product Support with production issues

·         Thoroughly understand all the technical aspects of relational database design and data modeling

 

Requirements:

·         Four-year degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

·         Minimum eight years of experience in systems analysis and programming, addressing unique issues of architecture and data management

·         Minimum five years Oracle development experience required

·         Knowledge and experience of all aspects of the software development process

·         Strong Oracle SQL and Oracle PL/SQL skills

·         Previous SQL tuning experience
