Title: .Net Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 18 Months
Rate: $42/hr on C2C
Job Description
Provides technical consultation and support in the development of computer applications and programs. Analyzes business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign computer solutions. Develops original and/or complex code or provides coding guidance to less experienced staff. Performs modeling, simulations and analysis efforts. Verifies program logic by assisting with the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Participates in overall systems testing. Assists with the migration of applications to production. Develops new documentation, participates in the development of department technical procedures and designs user guides. As an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and assists with updating and testing of the business continuation plan.: 5+ years application development and implementation experience.
Minimum:
• Direct experience writing code using
o .NET 4.0
o Microsoft Enterprise Library
o AJAX Control Toolkit or other AJAX technologies
o Visual Studio 2010
o Team Foundation Server
• Direct experience developing
o Object-oriented applications (if that is not too obvious to say)
o .NET Web Services as both a consumer and provider
o Reports using Microsoft Report Viewer
o Interactive Calendars using Microsoft Calendar Control or other technologies
o AJAX-capable web pages
o Tiered web applications (i.e. apps having UI, business logic, and data access layers)
o In a team situation.
