Package Windows applications to allow installation by ExxonMobil computer users. Application packaging is the process of identifying application components, determining how these should be installed, and then creating an install package (using tools listed below) which install files, registry settings, and environment configurations necessary to ensure a standard installation.
Required Technical Skills:
• Installshield AdminStudio
• Application layering/packaging
• Windows 7, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008
Recommended Technical Skills:
• Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008 • User profiles and user-level security • Microsoft Enterprise Services such as Active Directory, Group Policy, and SCCM.
• Exposure to technologies such as: HTML, Javascript, PowerShell, VBScript and other Microsoft Office Integration products (e.g. Add-Ins) • Capable in MS Office Products, E-Mail, and SharePoint
