Webshere Portal / Portlet Developer

Required Skills:

·     Expertise developing Java/J2EE web applications on WebSphere, WebLogic,

      JBoss (6+ years)

·   

      Experience developing complex UI in JSP and Servlets/Portlets, familiarity with MVC frameworks (Spring MVC, Struts, etc.)

·     Proficiency with JavaScript and toolkits such as jQuery or dojo 

·      Experience working with and developing Web Services (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON with Ajax frameworks)

·      Strong skills in Object Oriented Programming, software development, and methodologies. Excellent application design skills, proficiency with UML

·      Familiarity with the entire development life cycle, including specification, design, development, documentation, quality assurance, release activities, and post-release support

Desired Skills:

·      Experience developing Portlets for WebSphere Portal 7.x/8; JSR 168/286 Portlet development

·      SQL proficiency; working knowledge of Oracle, MS SQL, or DB2; ORM mapping tools such as Hibernate

·      Deep understanding of software security principals

·      Knowledge of video streaming formats (Windows Media, MPEG, Flash) and network protocols

·      Knowledge of Subversion, build/release procedures, experience with Ant, Maven

SAP BPC Developer -Good with Corporate Finance & Accounting & Integration of BPC with NetWeaver

Our client is looking for (2) SAP / BPC Developers (BPC = Business Planning & Consolidation.)  The company is doing an upgrade from v.7.0 to 7.5. BPC is a financial planning & consolidation application so the candidates should have a strong understanding of corporate finance and accounting. The company is using BPC on a Microsoft platform. The company running BPC 7.0M today on Microsoft Windows physical servers

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Should have a strong understanding of corporate finance and accounting
  • Strong Experience in SAP, and SAP BW
  • Experience with OO ABAP language
  • Application Modeling, data management, process management, and reporting work in BPC
  • Experience with Integration of BPC with SAP NetWeaver
  • Experience with creation of data Manager Packages and process chains inside of BW and BPC
  • Experience of the reporting and analysis framework
  • Understanding of the BPC Class Library
  • Experience with BPC scripting Language
  • Experience with BAdi format
  • Candidates must be financially literate
  • Candidates should be able to work independently
  • Candidates should be able to offer best practice advice about how to exploit 7.5M features
