Mobile tester

Must have 6+ years of experience in the US
Looking for strong technical and driven senior test engineer capable of learning new technology and work in a fast paced environment.
Ideal candidate needs to show initiative and be a good team player.
Education/Experience
o Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field required
o 6+ years experience required
Responsibility level
o Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor
Skills
o Strong experience Testing Mobile Applications on IOS and Android operating Systems (Required)
o Strong Experience in testing Web Data Query interfaces using soap, java, xml and C++ (Required)
o Strong skill in writing SQL queries to do back-end testing (MY SQL and ORACLE)
o Prior testing experience with applications developed on multiple operating systems and mobile applications
o Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required)
o Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time (Required)
o Strong knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology (Required)
o Strong knowledge of computer development software, such as Mainframe, C++, Linux, JavaScript, etc (Required)
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
o Design test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures
o Test system modifications to prepare for implementation
o Develop testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability
o Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
o Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content
o Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
o Create or maintain databases of known test defects
o Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
