Extensive knowledge of all phases of the Product/Software Life Cycle. |
System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) |
Troubleshooting skills, Problem solver |
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in a state/federal government environment. |
Knowledge of IT environments in Texas state government agencies. |
Knowledge of Texas health and human services programs and program area domains. |
Ability to interact with a diverse level of staff to exchange and/or extract information. |
Knowledge of Business Objects Report development. |
Knowledge of Business Objects Universe development including the ability to streamline queries to ease reporting needs. |
Knowledge of Oracle and Relational Database concepts. |
Ability to extract, aggregate, pivot, analyze, and present data in various formats using various software tools. |
Knowledge of web based applications. |
Knowledge of system development tools. |
Experience with software design and maintenance. |
Ability to develop and maintain software and user documentation. |
An interest in keeping up with emerging technologies. |
Experience with information systems, operating systems, networks, and databases. |
Experience with data exchange protocols (FTP, etc.) |
Knowledge of Perl scripts. |
Effective verbal and written communication skills. |
