Our Client has an urgent opening for "Mainframe Admin" opening @ Salisbury, MD

 

Title: Mainframe Administrator

Location: Salisbury, MD

Duration: 3 Months

 

Job Requirements:

 

Responsibilities:

 

Required to administer the system by configuring and troubleshooting:

-Backup architecture using HSM  ABARS, including tape and media management

-Storage/SAN management in VTAM

-Printer Configuration using VPS

-User Account Management in RACF

-Reporting out of SAR

-Manager the IPL schedule

-Administration and systems troubleshooting through SMF

 

Requirements:

 

- Strong knowledge of Mainframe, JCL coding, and multi-LPAR configuration.

 

Preferred:

 

- Experience in Natural/Construct Programming

- Prefer experience administering IBM DB2 and ADABASE database systems.
