The Business Analyst (BA) will work with internal project teams to implement a project that is to support for unemployment . The BA will facilitate requirements gathering sessions to determine business needs and map the requirements to product functionality, identifying any gaps and counseling clients on best practice solutions. The BA will document the functionality to be implemented, configure the application, will create test scripts for the requirements execute testing, coordinate defect resolution throughout all project phases and provide client production support.
Responsibilities for BA
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with clients to determine business requirements and rules
Map requirements to product functionality and identify any gaps
Create and maintain the Business Requirements Documentation used in configuring client systems
Create test plans and execute test plans/scripts.
Replicate client defects, perform initial defect analysis and assign to appropriate developers
Troubleshoot data issues including querying the database to identify and resolve data issues must be able to write sql
Participate in internal and external team meetings
Facilitate client training, as needed
Work closely with Project Manager to ensure successful implementations
