Title: Sql Server DBA
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
-If someone has experience in Data warehousing or BI, that is OK but they must have Transactional OLTP
Perform Application DBA work as follows:
• Create and maintain database models and scripts that create, modify or delete database objects
• Assist Software Developers on writing stored procedures and triggers
• Work with Software Developers on database conversions and migrations
• Create and maintain security for database access
• Perform database and application tuning along with Software Developers
• Create, maintain and implement database development standards with best practices
• Coordinate and work with vendors on packaged software in regards to changes impacting databases
At least 5 years of experience in application database administration
• At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Able to work independently and as a team member
Strong command of English, good communication and interpersonal skills
• Work with Software Developers on database conversions and migrations
• Create and maintain database models and scripts that create, modify or delete database objects
• Create and maintain security for database access
• Assist Software Developers on writing stored procedures and triggers
