We are looking for a .NET Developer with Sitcore CMS Experience to support world's leader in providing IT consulting and software services to the finest global organizations client.
This is a 6 months extendible Position based in Rochester,NY.
Role:.NET Developer with Sitcore CMS Experience
Location: Rochester, NY
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Job Description:
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required.
• Must have in-depth knowledge of Content Management:
• Strong technical hands on knowledge of Sitecore including best practices and features.
• Good understanding of the CMS (IT) industry
• Good understanding of Web development, information architecture, CMS and integrated technologies
• Ability to map loosely defined business requirements to specific technical solutions
• Experience in design and development of multi lingual / multi country websites.
• Strong experience in high level and detailed solution design and build validation. Experience in content migration projects
• Familiar with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX and JQUERY, Responsive Web Design
• Strong ASP.NET C# experience (framework v2, v3.5, v4)
• Strong knowledge of IIS, Team Foundation Server
• Solid programming knowledge of the following databases (MS SQL Server and Oracle)
Qualifications Basic:
• At least 5 years' experience in Sitecore CMS projects
• Data Infrastructure
• Content Items
• Presentation - specifically Web Controls
• Placeholder framework
• Rules framework
• Binding content and presentation
• Workflow engine
• Platform administration and tuning
• Experience in analyzing and resolving performance issues with Sitecore CMS
• Specifically for Sitecore, Sitecore API, Kernel and Sitecore. Client libraries. Sitecore concepts including Layouts, Sub layouts, Templates, CM/CD environments, Sitecore caching, Serialization, Sitecore configuration, Site core deployment, Security etc.
Preferred:
• Experience in Mobile Content Management Systems.
• Strong Analytical skills
• At least 2 years of defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural stand point
