JOB DESCRIPTION:

Financial client is looking for Back-end Python developers with following skills -

 

Experience will include:

• Experienced Senior Python Developer
• TCP/IP, asynchronous communication
• SQL and database programming (Oracle a plus)
• High availability, high performance and high transaction processing environments
• The complete software development lifecycle (SDLC) including writing requirements, implementation, testing, technical documentation, and deployment of software applications
• UNIX/Linux experience including scripting (Bash)
• Experience in payment industry, encryption technologies is a plus

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ year (s) of related work experience (prefer 10-15)

 

In summary the client is looking for strong back-end Python developers. They would be developing python processes that do payment transaction processing. Though some of the APIs are HTTP based, this is not a web application development role. Our current architecture uses heavy async comm, event-driven processing, state-machines, transaction integrity, Oracle stored proc and TCP/IP/Fifo based IPC. And of course payment processing protocols like ISO8583 or Visa are highly desired.
