Position: OBIEE CONSULTANT

Location: PLANO,TX

Duration: 3+ Months

Experience: 8+ YEARS

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

·         OBIEE Admin (Mandatory)Oracle SQL

·         You are responsible for managing a small team of analysts, developers, testers or engineers and drive delivery of a small module within a project (Delivery/Maintenence/Testing)

·         You may serve as entry level specialist with expertise in particular technology/industry domain/a process / application / product.

·         You are responsible for functional/technical track of a project.

·         Minimum work experience:5 - 8 Years

Technical skills:

Business Intelligence:

·         Should be able to develop technological solution of any complexity independently for the intended delivery competency to meet business requirements of a department

·         Should be able to make effective use of available best practices and standards

·         Experience Range: 1-3 years of experience in developing technology level solutions like architecture, framework, etc.

UNIX Shell Scripting:

·         Shell Basics & Sub shells - Shell types: Bourne, Korn, C, and bash -Korn Shell Environment - Start-up Scripts (.profile, .kshrc) Using ENV for automatic environment tailoring (PATH etc.) [Shell Command Syntax] - Commands & Options

·         Manipulating Input and Output Redirection (Pipes) - Aliases (alias, unalias) - How the Shell Finds Commands - Command History and Editing[Variables] - Assigning Values to Variables (set, unset and Special Variables)

·         Built-in Variables Known to Login Shell - The Shell Environment and predefined variables - Exporting Variables [Input/Output]

·         Working with files and file attributes - Working with Directories - Basic I/O Features - String and Field Processing - Streams and pipes (exec) - Terminal Information(COLUMNS, LINES, TERM)

Oracle SQL:

·         SQL Constructs Ability to understand and implement Data Types, Basic SQLSELECT Statements, Restricting and Sorting Data, Single-Row Functions, Joins, Aggregate and Group Functions, Sub-Queries, Creating & Managing DB Objects, Manipulating Data (DML), Constraints, Views
