1.       Configuring Network Interfaces and Assigning IP Addresses and Management of network addresses

2.       DNS Configuration, Firewall Configuration and Management of Load Balancer Rules

3.       Co-ordination of Ongoing SOA System Monitoring and Responding to Alerts

4.       SOA Performance Monitoring and Capacity Planning

5.       Deployment Topology, Installing Appliance in rack and Diagnosing Appliance

6.       Initial System Monitoring Setup (Hardware)

7.       Initial Setup for Datapower Role Based Access Control

8.       Front and Back Side Handler Configuration(Port Assignment)

9.       Patch Upgrades, System Upgrades, Impact Analysis and Coordination with application teams

10.   PKI Deployment (deploying certs for use with SSL, encryption, signing)

11.   Ongoing Datapower Console Access Management (Admin, Read Only Users etc...)

12.   Create and Maintain Reusable Configuration Objects. Integrating with required external services (e.g. LDAP, Registry etc). Enforce Reusability.

13.   Perform data power configuration and application configuration version control on on going basis.

14.   Co-ordination of Backup and Restore activities for datapower configuration

15.   Operational Standards (Object Naming Conventions, Deployment & Promotion Criteria, Process Definitions etc...)

16.   Explore, Prove and Document New Features

17.   Defining and Enforcing SOA security standards that need to be implemented in each project

18.   SOA Framework Governance

19.   Application Integration Design

20.   Define project-specific security requirements (in addition to corporate requirements)
