Required Skills:

Minimum (7) yrs of extensive hands-on Project Management or Project Lead exp

The ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent activities with full accountability and financial responsibilities

Knowledge of Project Mgmt processes, procedures, documentation, and reporting criteria; knowledge and demonstrated ability to conduct detailed planning, and perform risk assessments and their associated risk mitigation actions; and knowledge of related IT standards and software

Prior experience managing Medicaid projects, preferably in ICD-10, 5010, MSIS, and Pilot T-MSIS/T-MSIS

Technical hands-on expertise in Data warehouse, BI Reporting and Analytics with technologies such as Base SAS and tools, Cognos, Oracle, FTP methodologies, and data extraction

Experience in resource management

Strong understanding of a HIPAA transaction set (5010) and ICD-9/ICD-10 code sets in Medicaid claims processing system

Excellent oral communication, technical writing and documentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts, information, plans, and procedures to both technical personnel and non-IT business users

 

Preferred Skills:

PMP/ITIL

Project management experience in North Carolina State government projects
