Location = Rye, NY  ( Local or Near BY )
Duration = 6+ months

 

Face to Face Interview

 

Oracle and SQL Server DBA(mid-level 4-5 years' experience) for a Contract opportunity
 The consultant should experience working with Oracle Databases as well as some SQL Databases. Must have experience with Oracle 12c on Unix/Linux.

 

Responsibilities:
Install, configure, customize, create, implement, and support the Oracle and SQL Server databases, software and related tools/products.
Implement Grid Infrastructure release 12c on a Unix/Linux.
Patching grid infrastructure software;
Setup/administer Oracle database security environment;
carry out DB Performance Tuning;
Troubleshoot DB problems, working with ORACLE support on problems and questions;
Schedule RMAN (backup/recovery);
Install and configure, customize ORACLE server and clients; Schedule, install and configure ORACLE upgrades;
Install, configure, customize ORACLE related system level software;
Design, development, and create all database file systems layouts and Oracle databases;
Monitor software notifications and updates; managing distributed databases and configuring client/server and Web-based environments;
