Role: Java Lead

Location: Cupertino, CA

Duration: 6-9 Months

Rate: $/hr on C2C All Incl.

Conducts analysis, designs products, and programs computer software that requires extensive research. Typical background for this position is advance study/knowledge in the field of computer science or software engineering along with advanced knowledge of software development and methodologies.

Job Responsibilities:

·         Design, Develop and maintain new important platform level projects - Java 7 upgrade, Data Center move, Platform APIs.

·         Maintain some critical platform level projects like API Gateway and Couchbase- Couchbase is a caching framework.

·         Document and educate other Platform team members on Projects developed.

·         Interact and interface with other Application Teams on usage of Platform frameworks and APIs.

Skills Required/Desired:

·         Core Java 7+ programming language required.

·         API Development in an SOA environment required.

·         Spring 3+, Hibernate frameworks desired.

·         Experience in Build systems like Maven or Ant required.

·         Experience in Tools and Automation such as Jenkins and Puppet desired.

·         Scripting in Bash or other scripting language preferred.

·         Experience in RDBMS- Oracle preferred.
