Position               : SSIS Consultant

Location               : Houston, TX

Duration              : 6-12 Months

Experience         : 5-8 Years

 

Job Requirement & Technical Skills Required:

·         Must be strong in SSIS packages development, having at least 4 years of experience

·         Candidate must have overall 6-8 years of experience with IT development

·         Must have exposure to .NET coding and SSRS reports development

·         Hands on experience with SQL Development using MS SQL Server 2008

·         Must have worked on SQL Procedures, performance tuning, replications, complex entity relationships, etc

·         Requires good analytical skills and client communication

·         Should have experience with code reviews, coding standards and Velociq quality process

SSIS

·         Knowledge in Design, Capacity Planning and Architecting ETL solutions

·         Sound knowledge in Performance Tuning Packages Implementing Transactions based packages.

·         Sound knowledge in Best Practices of developing SSIS Project Using SSIS beyond ETL (DB Maintenance).

 

DWH-Business Intelligence

 

Business Intelligence

·         Should be able to develop technological solution of any complexity independently for the intended delivery competency to meet business requirements of a department

·         Should be able to make effective use of available best practices and standards

·         Experience Range : 1-3 years of experience in developing technology level solutions like architecture, framework, etc.

 

MS SQL

·         SQL Constructs

·         Ability to understand and implement Data Types, Basic SQLSELECT Statements, Restricting and Sorting Data, System Functions, Joins, Sub-Queries, Creating & Managing DB Objects, Manipulating Data (DML), Constraints, Views

SSRS

·         Experienced in generating complex reports, writing SQLs and Configuring reports.

·         Good knowledge in generating reports and incorporating charting capabilities.

·         Basic knowledge in Creating Custom components for Reports.

·         Good Understanding of Subscription, Caching and Snapshots.

·         Proficient knowledge in deployment and administration of reports.

 

OLAP

Unix Shell Scripting

.NET
