Job Description:Overview of Android Developer Ø Contribute to architectural vision to help meet business objectives Ø Analyzing user stories and participating in sprint planning, scrums, demos and retrospectives Ø Coordinate with Architecture group on new designs and foundational / infrastructural application changesØ Integrate mobile application code with back-end services Ø Help optimized / customized mobile service responses / payloads Ø Develop back-end servicesØ Perform peer code reviews for immediate and related teams Ø Continuous integration / continuous delivery concepts and the ability to troubleshoot related issues Ø Provide architectural direction on behalf of the architecture team Requirements of Android Developer: Ø Bachelor¹s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in the software development field Ø 5-7 years of software development experience Ø 2+ years mobile application development experience Ø Experience reviewing and updating requirements and/or user stories Ø Experience writing technical documentation Ø Understanding of agile software development Ø Disciplined approach to software development. Includes defining and enforcing engineering best practices.Ø Strong problem solving and analysis skills.Ø Expert level knowledge: Java Programming € Expert understanding of Computer Science Fundamentals.Ø Expert java mobile application development skills with a proven record of creating commercial quality software. Ø Strong knowledge of unit testing, behavioral testing and continuous integration Ø Strong troubleshooting skills Ø Strong application performance / tuning skills Ø Understanding of importance of maintainable / sustainable product solutions Ø Experience with developing mobile applications that interface with RESTful services Ø Experience with developing applications that run on multiple mobile devices with different form factors Ø Strong understanding of caching as it relates to mobile devices and application performance Ø Understanding of PCI, PII and mobile application security Ø Understanding of mobile application accessibility Experience with content management systems a plus Ø Experience with analytics tools a plus
