Job Responsibilities
9 years of relevant experience
BOBJ (Business Objects) Universe Designer/Developer consultant with specific expertise with BOBJ Universe design/development using IDT/UDT tools.
The Universe Designer will review results of the universe migration to the v4.1 environment to identify and correct any issues resulting from the migration. The Designer will provide support to the BOBJ Report Developers to identify and resolve errors on Web Intelligence and Crystal reports.
Strong development experience with BOBJ Universe design/development using IDT/UDT tools.
Fluent in English
Strong development experience with RDBMS databases and tuning of complex SQL scripts, functions and stored procedures.
Extensive knowledge of database design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with semantic data modeling for reporting (star schema, data marts).
Design and develop Web intelligence reports in XI or 4.1 environments.
Business Objects upgrade or migration experience preferred.
Capable of leading offshore/onsite report developers.
Experience with Business Objects 4.x SDK (JAVA and/or .Net).
Strong attention to detail, logical/critical thinking and analysis skills is required.
Ability to work independently in a fast paced work environment.
Experience working in short, agile, iterative development cycles.
