Position: Hadoop Consultant
Location: Columbus, Ohio – however candidate must be willing to travel .
6 Months
This is for a technical consulting position with our client's Strategy and
Analytics Service Line in the Columbus Center for Advanced Analytics.
Looking for a resource with deep technology experience and a strong
understanding of the non-relational data space.
Description:
Minimum 5 year experience in Distributed systems design and development
using Java/C++/Python/Perl/Unix Scripting
Minimum 5 years of experience in BI full lifecycle engagements
Minimum 4 years of experience in Data Modeling in Non relational Databases
such as Cassandra, HBase, MongoDb etc
Minimum of 3 years acting in a Technical Consulting capacity
At least three years working with Streams and Big Data Architectural
concepts
At least one year working with UIMA (text analytics)
Preferred one year of experience in one or more: Hadoop, BigInsights,
Streams, Unica, Aginity, etc.
Must have excellent knowledge of Java
? Should have a complete architectural understanding of Hadoop,
HBase, Hive, Pig, Jaql, Lucene, Avro, Zookeeper,R, UIMA technologies and
keeps abreast of the evolving technology.
? Need a technology expert with experience providing technology
leadership to large delivery teams and clients through know how and
communication.
? Big Data Analytics - Experience in areas of optimizing management
of and deriving insights from non-structured non-relational data, and
provide business value from content through improved information
management, business process optimization (BPM) and advanced analytics is
key.
? Apply semantic correlation, ontology and text analytics
techniques and systems to analyze non-structured data and identify critical
insights for overall business analytics across various domains.
