Details of Position:

The Cognos Lead is responsible for creating Cognos solutions, designing Cognos Frameworks and providing Cognos expertise for Cognos developers. In
addition, the Cognos Lead Developer is responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, planning, preparing, implementing, organizing and
executing developmental tasks and developing and delivering solutions to production.
Position Duties Responsible for the full life cycle of planning and
implementing BI solutions with Cognos.
Human Resources Training and Development Employee Resources Managing Your Career Managing Others Health and Safety I.S. and the Community

Management Skills:
8+ years of development and lead experience with Business Intelligence solutions using IBM Cognos BI Suite •
Strong communication and documentation skills
Strong quantitative and analytical skills and business knowledge.
Ability toperform project management activities.
Strong knowledge in IBM Cognos Business Intelligence v10.xx
Strong Admin knowledge in Cognos 10 BI servers
Knowledge in Cognos 10 installs in Windows & Linux
Cognos 10 Server tuning
Cognos 10 SDK Knowledge
Cognos 10 PowerPlay Knowledge
Knowledge of databases (Oracle) & SQL is a must. 
Strong understanding and working
knowledge of Relational/Star Schema modeling and design as well as Web Services (COGNOS Web Services, HTML, XML, etc.).
Knowledge of data and data manipulation techniques. - ETL concepts - Data Modeling - Data Governance - OLAP tools
Experience with Dynamic Cube Design
