Job: SQL DBA (4 open roles)
Location:  Long Beach, CA
Duration: 6+ months (projected to be 12-14 months)
$50/hour Max...!! C2C
Need Local Face to Face Required no Skype )

You will be responsible for the installation and configuration of SQL Server 2012, setting up maintenance jobs, performance tuning of the server, database scripting, database refreshes and setting up SQL clusters. You will be working closely with the applications team and supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
6-10 years of experience as a Sr. SQL DBA
3 Plus years' experience with SQL 2008R2
Experience setting up a SQL clustered environment
Experience supporting a 2012 SQL Server environment
Experience with database administration and support, database mirroring, setting up maintenance jobs, performance tuning, partitioning, and database refreshes.
Experience performing database scripting (T-SQL, PowerShell)
Any experience with mainframe is a plus but not mandatory…this project is converting everything from mainframe (old company) to SQL.
