Job Role: Java/ J2EE Lead

Location: Portland, OR

Duration: 6+ months

Rate: $64/hr on C2C basis 

 

Client: CSC

Note: My client will see H1b copy to schedule Interview.

 

 Java/J2EE experienced 5+ years 

WebSphere experienced 5+ years 

Oracle experienced 5+years 

SOAP, XML and Web services 5+ years 

 

Minimum years of experience required: 7+ years 

 

Top 3-5 daily responsibilities:  

Independently troubleshoot, resolve, and document root cause analysis for complex technical problems related to Environments 

Train the environment/support team and provide hands on assistance. 

Identify any gaps in exiting environment processes/ procedures and create Operational documentation for improvement. 

Develop support tools/practices to maintain the environments stability.  

 

Desired skills: 

Exposure to messaging/WebSphere Message Broker 

Exposure to Citrix 

Exposure to SFTP 

 

Type of background you are looking for:  

Technical experience 7+ years with complex midrange platforms involving 2-tier and 3-tier architectures 

Understanding of current database, middleware and front end technologies 

Some technical exposure and experience with infrastructure components like hardware, network topologies, etc 

Strong IT process and procedure expertise 

Excellent communication skills 

Strong team focus and ability to work well under deadlines.  

Must be able to work through solutions and ideas with multiple local and remote departments and will be required to effectively present suggested ideas to groups of various sizes both local and remote. 

Strong analytical, problem solving skills
