The other 2 leads will be managing the efforts specific to their functional area: • Talent Management • Time and Labor, Absence Mgmt & Reporting and Analytics (the final 3 are included in one req as the general descriptions are the same and they are supported by the same PAR) Although these people will be focused on their respective areas, each role is still quite large and complex as the user impacts for each will span throughout the entire enterprise. The overall OCM lead will need to be extremely experienced as they will be coordinating and ultimately responsible for the entire enterprise wide program. They will all be responsible for the full scope of OCM activities: • Leadership Alignment/Stakeholder Management • Communication planning and delivery • Organizational Readiness • Training (planning, development and delivery) • What are the top 3 skills you are looking for? o Organizational Change Management experience o Communication and training experience o Project management/leadership • Is there a possibility for extension? o Yes. This is the first phase of a multi-year program. • What is the size of team, and who will this candidate be working with? o The project team is large. They will be working in partnership with large number (30+) technology and business leads. o They will be working as part of a team of four (external) OCM consultants. o They will be working directly for the overall HCM Global Project Organizational Change Management Lead. • What is the interview process, and timing behind it? o We can begin interviewing as soon as 3/3/15 o o Nice to haves: Working experience with Accenture Consulting, as their OCM methodology is very similar to L Brands; Local resources are preferred but not required. Application / Modules: • HR and/or associated functional experience not required but strongly preferred • Retail experience helpful but not required
 
Position Description:
The objective of the Human Capital Management (HCM) Global Design project is to define global HR processes and determine global standards across all brands, geographies and business units wherever possible.
The project requires three strong, experienced Organizational Change Management (OCM) consultants to plan and lead the change management work specific to the Talent Management; HR, Compensation, Benefits and Payroll;
and the Time and Labor, Absence Management and Reporting and Analytics system and process implementations. For the first phase of the project this work would include leading the initial leadership alignment and stakeholder
assessments in order to scope and structure the enterprise wide organizational readiness, communication and training strategies. In the following phases of the project the lead would be responsible for planning and executing the
brand/function specific strategies to support associates through the change. These people will be working in partnership with another Organizational Change Management lead responsible for the Talent Acquisition area, and will
report directly to the overall HCM Global Project Organizational Change Management Lead. The overall lead will be responsible for ensuring the organizational change management strategies supporting each functional area follow a
common methodology and timeline, and meet all stakeholder requirements without duplication of efforts.
These individuals must be highly experienced in leading large, complex change management projects. They must be comfortable and adept at communications (formal and informal) and have a solid understanding of training
strategies. They must be comfortable and effective in building relationships across the organizational spectrum, including executive (C-level) communication. They must be able to manage and leverage existing resources and
dispersed often "dotted line" non OCM team members. These are "hands on" roles and include deliverables development as well as setting strategy and planning.
 
Responsibilities:
Under the direction and guidance of the overall HCM Global Project Organizational Change Management Lead and in partnership with their OCM teammates, these people will be responsible for the following activities:
Create and maintain the initial stakeholder assessment for their respective functional area; Assess and analyze people, process and organizational impacts at all levels in conjunction with business partners to develop the
appropriate change management approach.
Identify potential people related risks and anticipated resistance points for their respective functional implementation, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns.
Identify potential executive (leadership alignment) related risks and develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns.
Design, develop, and deliver training plans based on the implications of the business process changes and the groups impacted; Understand how to address user training needs using a variety of platforms.
 
Skill Level
Expert Experience – 7+ years in organizational change management, specifically responsible for execution and /or leadership of an organizational change management team on 4+ implementations / projects; 5+ years in
information technology,
Demonstrated experience working with Organizational Change Management tools and techniques, including:
Leadership alignment
Stakeholder engagement, alignment and management
Change readiness assessments
Communication planning and development
Instructional design
Project management and Team leadership skills
Relationship-building Skills—ability to gain trust and form strong business alliances
Excellent Presentation and Facilitation Skills
Experience with HR strongly preferred
Retail experience a plus but not required
