Job Description:.

 

Responsible for enhancing the client's internal SharePoint 2010 and 2013 intranet sites, the ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in SharePoint Designer, Infopath, creating custom workflows and knowledgeable of SharePoint Best Practices and taxonomy. Client is migrating all sites to SharePoint 2013 over the next few months.

Responsibilities

Providing technical expertise to develop, support, enhance, troubleshoot and maintain customer's SharePoint 2010 and 2013 environment,

the Senior SharePoint Developer will be responsible for the following though not limited to:

• Develop, design and manage content, customizations, forms, and custom workflow in SharePoint 2010 and 2013
• Develop custom SharePoint web applications using Designer, InfoPath and other tools
• Develop custom lists, sites, and document libraries (understanding of taxonomy and SharePoint Best Practices is vital)
• Develop various automated forms and process workflows
• Manage the daily functions of SharePoint
• Follow SharePoint Best Practices in content management and taxonomy
• Other SharePoint duties as assigned

Required Skills And Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree Required
• 6+ years of relevant SharePoint experience:
• Basic understanding of MS SQL Server.
• In-depth understanding of the SharePoint development lifecycle in support of multiple user groups.
• Technical back-end knowledge of SharePoint's system design and architecture, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.
• Experience in Application Development especially in the SharePoint 2010 environment as well as enterprise-wide migrations.
• Experience supporting and experience with SharePoint 2010;
• Experience troubleshooting web based application issues
• Experience with advanced SharePoint workflows, forms, and web parts
• Database proficiencies in MS Access, Excel, DB, and XML
• Experience creating, modifying, and supporting web based platforms and solutions
• Experience with SharePoint site administration and web part configuration
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in the SharePoint environment
• Understanding of SharePoint architecture
• Web Content management and search engine optimization
