Job Title: SAP Service Desk Analyst

Location: Seattle, WA

Duration: 12+ Months Long Term Contractual role

 

SAP Service Desk Analyst role, responsibility, and knowledge requirements for solution delivery.

 

Job Description :

Manage the solution delivery of work item artifacts throughout the stages of the lifecycle utilizing Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) resources to assure quality deliverables:

 

1. Discover - determine what the project is and why are you doing it.

§ Understand what the business problem is and what you are trying to accomplish with this project

§ Understand boundaries (scope, milestones) of the project, the overall approach to the project, who is and/or needs to be involved and what their roles are

2. Define – determine what you are going to deliver and how you will implement it.

§ Detail the project tasks, milestone deliverables

§ Finalize all business requirement definition and determine what the end result will look like

§ Determine the work, resources and schedule required to deliver the tasks along with milestone deliverables

§ Requirements gathering assists customer's in analyzing their business requirements and identifying recommended solutions to meet their needs

ΓΌ Technical analysis identifies the technology needed to support the customer's objective

3. Design –translate the customer's objective and solution architecture into detailed specifications and/or a prototype, as needed.

§ Responsible for design reviews and meeting customer's user experience expectations.

4. Develop – translate a customer-approved solution design into a tested and working solution.

Management of ongoing project activities include

 

·         § Scope, time, cost, and quality deliverables

·         § Customers (stakeholders) with differing needs and expectations

·         § Identified requirements (needs) and unidentified requirements (expectations)

·         § Project level communications, procurement, scope-of-work, SAP service desk system/application integration, and risks areas

·         § Matrix interaction with required project resources

 

2. Ensure that project deliverables (work items) are completed in accordance with the schedule agreed with the customer, and for the planned cost associated with the proposal and agreements.

3. Responsible for development and execution of the approved project work plan. Sub tasks include policies and procedures such an understanding of the project team roles, responsibilities, and rules of the engagement

4.All project resources including vendors, customers and technical resources are ensured in order to meet scheduled requirements

5. Ensure all relevant information concerning project status and agreement fulfillment is communicated to the customer, and project team. Deliverables include project status review meetings, reports for the customer, solution delivery, and other project partners

6. All issues related to meeting the project plan, budget and agreement expectations are resolved. Involves managing continuous changes, monitoring/prioritizing work items, escalation procedures to ensure that project deliverables are compatible with customer expectations, consistently document agreements on expectations for deliverables and budget

 

Responsibility :

Provide solution lifecycle management which guides project planning considerations to deliver high quality solutions that are flexible, scalable, easy to maintain, delivered on time, within budget requirements, and meets or exceeds customer expectations.

§ Manage multi-project work items to ensure consistent delivery approach.

§ Manage pipeline of defined projects for delivery and scope of multiple project change requests.

§ Manage the delivery of work item artifacts throughout the solution lifecycle, for example:

o Business requirements definition,

o Prototype design & reviews,

o User experience (UX) expectations in Visio,

o User acceptance test

o Learning materials (training)

§ Manage maintenance and support requirements for handing off new software
