Role: Hadoop Lead/Architect
Location: Lexington - Kentucky
Duration: 6 months+
Job Description:
- Big Data Lead/Architect.
- AWS architecture/design experienced
- Schema design and data warehouse standards Knowledge. (data modeling)
- Work closely with Architects, Data Modelers, Engineers in an Agile work environment
- At least 6+ years of Data warehouse and BI experience.
- At least 2+ years of hands-on software development for big data Hadoop based platforms
- Development experience with Hadoop/EMR, HDFS, PIG, HIVE, Core Java
- Programming skills in one or more of the following languages: Java, Python, Ruby
- Good to have Skills
o AWS EMR, Redshift, S3, RDS, SWF
- Implementation of Map Reduce in Java
- SQL
Skill and Experience Details:
Minimum Experience Required: 8-10 YEARS Mandatory Skills: MapReduce, Big Data J2EE Architecting, Architecture Frameworks, Java-J2EE, Java - Architecting, Architecting Desirable Skills: Language Skills: English Language
