Must Have Expert in Umbraco CMS

 

Required:

An expert in Umbraco CMS system ( an open source ASP.NET CMS system) and ASP.NET/SQL development of proprietary databases to perform ongoing maintenance and improvements to the ITS publications database, the ITS public Web site, and the interface between the two to ensure that ITS technical research results continue to be disseminated to the public in a manner that conforms to applicable Federal policies for Federal agency public Web sites.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily maintenance and support of the ITS Web site and publications database

• Maintain, improve, and upgrade the ITS Umbraco installation as necessary to maintain functionality of the public Web site

• Assist with troubleshooting of error conditions and messages as necessary to maintain functionality of the public Web site

• Assist in the planning and execution of improvements, upgrades, or changes required to meet Government-wide policies for Federal agency public websites and/or Department of Commerce directives for agency sites
