Job Title: Data Warehouse Developer
Location: Orlando,FL
Duration: 12 Months contract
Skills Required
3+ years experience data analysis and enterprise reporting in large data environments
Strong, demonstrated ability to write and code standard SQL queries using 3rd Normal Form relational database
Thorough understanding of Type 1 and Type 2 versioning and application of each in determining correct answers and pathing.
Experience with Teradata Preferred
Experience with Informatica Preferred
Ability to define problems, collect data, analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to exercise judgment within generally defined practices and select methods to obtain solutions
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and other product and procedure documentation clearly and effectively
Experience in desktop applications, including Microsoft Word, Project, Access, Excel, and Visio
Data Consulting
Log, investigate, and track technical/data issues raised by business partners/users.
Act as a customer issue resolution contact and take ownership of problems.
Liaison with development team in order to relay impactful support issues requiring remediation by the development team.
Write technical articles and documentation
Data Validation
Find discrepancies in associations according to business rules, document, and design solutions where needed
Determine if update strategies are working as intended (not necessarily as designed)
ETL Data Failures - Data Validation that recovery was complete
Data Stewardship
