Upgrade its existing web content management system (CMS) with a standardized product that allows for greater customization and flexibility in order to better meet the Commission's web branding and marketing goals. A new creative design (look & feel) has been developed, and Jahia (jahia.com) has been selected as the CMS that best fits our needs. We now seek the technical expertise to implement the new design in Jahia.
Duties/Responsibilities
Environments setup & configuration, CMS installation, configuration and implementation, integration with various services and other related tasks including, but not limited to:
• Implement required Jahia modules and plugins.
• Create site hierarchy for navigation and content repositories.
• Create templates, site layouts and integrate HTML/CSS/Javascript.
• Assist in implementing site search functionality.
• Configuration of workflows in Jahia.
• Implement security token propagation between secured and non-secured site domains.
• Work with the project team on other tasks as required to meet requirements and business needs, meet schedule and deliverables and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
• Provide documentation, training, and support in the hand-off of the Jahia development and administration to the client.
Required:
• Has completed at least two medium-to-large scale website implementations using Jahia.
• 3+ years of experience in CMS development.
• Experience in developing responsive websites.
• Proficient in presentation layer technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery, AJAX
• A Bachelor's Degree in information systems,
• computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Must be available to work on-site at least 4 days/week.
Preferred:
• Experience with implementation of Jahia in Websphere environment is a huge plus.
• Jahia Gold Partner preferred.
• Completion of Jahia Developer Certification Program preferred.
