We are currently searching for an OpenStack Cloud Integration Engineer for our Fortune 500 customer located in the Bedminster area. As a Cloud Integration Engineer, you will work closely with the Cloud Center of Excellence technical team to deliver Proof of Concepts related to their OpenStack Cloud initiatives. The right candidate will have solid understanding of the various OpenStack Cloud components (Nova, Neutron, Swift, Heat, Ceilometer, Glance, Keystone, Cinder, etc.)
EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING:
· Deployment of OpenStack (IaaS) Solutions
· Managing Glance Images
· Building and creating block storage with Cinder
· Managing with Ceilometer Metering and Alarms
· Keystone Identity management
· Creating and managing Swift objects
· Designing a Swift Ring
· Deploying compute with Nova
· Creating and managing networks with Neutron
· Extensive experience designing complex data center environments and leading the full lifecycle of data center projects from server consolidation to virtualization to workload migrations and service automation
· Expertise in designing architectures to support disaster recovery, backup and recovery, and archiving and retrieval on hybrid cloud platformS
· Minimum of 3 years hands on experience designing and building cloud infrastructure with AWS, Azure, SoftLayer, Rackspace, VMware, OpenStack and other cloud platforms.
· A broad set of technical skills with knowledge across network switching, security appliances, application controllers and other technology used in hybrid cloud solutions
· Exceptional analytical and writing skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to a broad audience
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
· Strong verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present at Industry events, technical forums, and client facing symposiums and workshops
· Demonstrates core values of professionalism, respect, and perseverance
· Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills
· Self-motivated with proven consultative skills to interface directly with customers
· Ability to work under stressful situations, meet tight deadlines and deliver services with high quality
