Job: Data Quality Analyst
Length:  12 months
Rate:  42-43/hr on C2C Max...!!! No flexibility
Location:  Alexandria VA
Interview:  Skype

We are seeking an experienced Database Management Consultant

Responsibilities:
Conduct general data quality Analysis and profiling support
Review of business rules and identification of duplicate records and data inconsistencies
Identification of null or incomplete data and verification of data transformations and conversions
Reporting on data quality trends
Review of standards documentation on migration and conversion strategies to access, analyze, report on and ensure quality of data stored
Preparation of data quality artifacts including analysis, quality assessments and profiling
Documentation of existing business processes and rules to access and ensure quality
Provide technical assistance with installation, configuration and usage of IBM's data quality tool set
Verification of production database structure after deployment
Perform baseline data quality assessments on databases used in legacy and development systems
Identify and evaluate data quality products

Skills & Requirements
Ability to analyze data migration plan to include mapping of source to target databases
Ability to performance data analysis on data discrepancies in a timely basis and be able to have quick turnaround
Ability to export data from the database to other target like MS Excel, and ability to import data from other source including MS Access, MySQL and Excel file to an
Oracle database
Experience in writing complex SQL
Ability to fine tune SQL for performance
Ability to create database objects (tables, indexes, etc.)
Ability to write database procedures, functions, and triggers
SQL
SQL Plus
PL/SQL
Relational RDBMS
Oracle 10 or later
MS Office Suite (Access, Word, Excel, etc.)
IBM Data Quality tool
TOAD for Oracle or SQL Developer
TOAD for Data Analyst
Desired Experience with the following:
UNIX
MySQL
MS SQL Server
Business Object Crystal Report
IBM Rational Toolset (Desired),
Documentum (Desired),
Pega

Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience within related fields
