Looking for : TESTER

 

Must have:

·         Excellent Communication

·         IVR Testing

·         Experience with REST

 

Required:

* IVR test experience required

* experience with QC preferred, other defect tracking software OK

* experience with Agile required

* experience with Jira preferred, other project tracking software OK (Rally, etc)

* experience testing API utilizing REST or SOAP

* standard manual test experience with strong test methodology knowledge

* must have SQL "Select" knowledge, no need to know join, update, etc.

* nice to have cable or telecom experience

* nice to have Cyara automation experience

 

The IVR Test Engineer will be responsible for creating and executing test cases exercising the Enterprise IVR applications. The focus of this position is to contribute to the planning, estimation, creation and execution of the test strategy, test plans, test scripts and test data, on small to large complex projects as an individual contributor. Work closely with development, testing and subject matter experts during the entire life-cycle of the projects to insure product quality. Identify and advocate QA testing standards and processes. The IVR test engineer MUST possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, candidates that cannot clearly and concisely convey test status, bug details or blocking issues need not apply. 

 

1. Test against requirements for new applications by working with business owners, vendor partners and development team and to understand designs of new IVR, CTI, Web Services and other Telecommunications technologies using industry standards

2. Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications.

3. Execute manual test scripts in order to validate acceptance criteria as provided in the user stories and requirements.

4. Provide succinct and accurate documentation and verbal notification of issues.

5. Collaborate with remote members of a team.

6. Run tests using tools to validate process and data, do integration testing by placing calls and validating responses and data

 

Job Requirements:

• Experience with CRM Testing: at least 1 year

• Working experience testing web applications including RESTful and SOAP architectural styles

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills

Working, hands on experience with cross browser testing is required- .

 

Knowledge:

- Familiarity with Omniture: Nice to have

- HP Quality Center: MUST

- Jira Agile: Nice to have

- Browser Stack: Nice to have

- cURL: Nice to have

- Splunk: Nice to have

- SoapUI: Nice to have

- Mobile Device Testing: iOS and Android – Nice to have

- Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint and Visio (Office Suite) - MUST

- Confluence Wiki: Nice to have

- Selenium: Nice to have (Note the primary function of this role is not automation)

- Billing system (Icoms, CSG): Nice to have

- Command Prompt/Terminal: Nice to have

- TOAD: Nice to have

- Virtual Machine installation and use: Nice to have

- SQL (the ability to manipulate the existing queries, understand table structures: Nice to have

- SOA/RESTful API experience and understanding (not just familiar with concepts): Nice to have

- Jenkins: Nice to have

- Teleconferencing experience: MUST

- work experience with Avaya Telecommunications (Common Telephony Concepts, Avaya JTAPI/TSAPI, CMS Reporting, & SIP: MUST

Cyara Software Application Tool: MUST

- Experience with core software applications including:  Eclipse, Geronimo, Weblogic, SoapUI, Apache Tomcat, CVS, and Toad. MUST

 

- Proven experience and knowledge of working with standard software applications used for testing, such as HP QC, Jira, Jenkins/Maven
