Open Position : Mainframe Tester
Location : Jersey City, NJ, USA
Duration : 3 - 6 months
Approx. Start date : Immediate
Job Description:
· At least 4 year of experience in "Mainframe Testing", specifically
· Familiarity with testing CICS screen based flows,
· Analyze or Create JCLs for testing/testdata setup
· Analyze job runs, identify/resolve Abend codes, SPUFI, DB2 querying.
· Read/Edit files using FileAid
· Create/Edit Schedules, Run jobs through CA7 scheduler,
· At least 2 years of Web AND web-services testing experience (MQ, XMLs, SWIFT messages etc).
· At least 2 years of exposure to HP ALM in managing testing lifecycle from requirements to test-cases to defects and metrics.
· Familiarity with automation tools and creation/running of automated test suites will be an added advantage.
· At least 4 yrs of experience in preparing the Test Plan documents for major projects
· At least 4 yrs of experience in writing Test cases covering all the business functionalities.
· At least 2 years of experience of preparing Test Approach/Test Strategy documents
· Basic knowledge of Trading domain and Trade life cycle (different asset types)
