Role 2: 

Unix Support

Location: Cleveland, OH area

7 month duration

Sr. Consultants only!!! 

Skype/Phone Interview

Client always likes local or as close to Cleveland, OH as possible – those always get first preference and interviews

 

 9+ year candidates only!

 

Required:

1. Red Hat Linux and AIX technical support
2. Scripting abilities – ksh, Perl, and Python and/or C
3. UNIX security – understand the basics (AD authentication, SSL, SSH)
4. Virtualization support – AIX LPAR creation, DLPAR

Desired:

1. DataPower administrative experience/familiarity
2. Middleware knowledge – MQSeries, Message Broker, Data Transmissions (FTP SSH/SFTP)
3. Configuration management – Salt, Puppet, Chef, etc.
4. VMWare (Linux deployments)
5. WebSphere Application Server knowledge and/or Tomcat
6. Performance tuning

Candidate Responsibilities

 The Basic UNIX administration (user account administration, VG, LV, and FS support – backfill day to day support so others can work on projects.

1. Assist other UNIX admins with project tasks
2. Some project work could be assigned depending on person's skill set

Project Detail

 

1. UNIX server cleanup. Make sure that all the servers are configured with the same settings. This is for both AIX and Linux servers.
2. Convert some existing Red Hat Linux servers to CENT OS Linux servers
3. System automation projects – Configuration management, user account administration

 

Role 3: 

Need Microstrategy Architect & Microstrategy Developer - Foster City, CA - 6+ Months with extension 

Job Title: Microstrategy Architect 

Location  : Foster City, CA

Duration  : 6+ Months with extension

Job Description:(Architect)

Should have at least 5+ years of hands-on development/maintenance experience in MicroStrategy 8.x, 9.x

Must have data modelling, schema design hands-on experience.

Must have performance tuning experience

Must have worked on VLDB settings

Knowledge / Experience on enterprise portal/portlet integration, mobile integration, write back to source data based on analysis by business users, alerts via email/mobile based on pre-defined events, visualization on big-data

Experience on metadata creation, creating report specifications, integration, test planning, testing and implementation support

Experience on Report and Dashboard development

Strong experience with Hadoop Ecosystem and Java programing language for Hadoop coding

Role 4: 

Microstrategy Developer

Location  : Foster City, CA

Duration  : 6+ Months with extension

Job Description:(Developer)

Skills: MicroStrategy 8.x, 9.x

Very strong in Scorecard, Report and Dashboard hands on experience

Very good in schema design and good in DB, DB modelling concept

Strong in SQL

Should have worked on large data sets and experience with performance tuning, VLDB setting

Should be able to work independently with minimum involvement from client SMEs
