Job Description –

Cisco Component Quality and Technology (CQT) organization is looking for a Software Engineer to develop and deploy Python/Django/MySQL based algorithms/applications into production using Cloud architecture and/or connect these tools with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools such as Agile.

• Understand internal stakeholder's requirements to develop complex, highly scalable algorithms in Python.
• Understand IT infrastructure (Cloud architecture) required to efficiently deploy algorithms as web applications and/or connect with the PLM tools.       
• Develop and maintain production level code at all times.
• Query web based database and/or Agile database for internal stakeholders to perform analytics

Desirable Skills - • Ideal candidate shall have at least 3 to 5 years' of experience developing and deploying highly scalable Python based applications using cloud infrastructure. 
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture is a must. Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Python.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience with relational databases (MySQL/MSSQL/Postgres). Solid understanding of querying small to medium databases. Knowledge of NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in taking at least one web application from development to production.
• Strong debugging skills. 
• Solid understanding of any of the major operating systems (Windows/Linux/Mac OS) with respective web applications development and deployment.
• Prior experience developing PLM based tools is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of HTML5 and CSS.
