Project Duration
Initial 6-12 month contract

Required Skills:

  • Function in an IT Operations Role …….Incidents Response, Defect Correction, Rotational On-Call Support, Small Enhancements, etc…
  • Interest in Developing an Understanding of the Business
  • Requires BPM development across multiple versions of IBM BPM platform
  • WebSphere Process Server Coding, Design, Administration and Configuration – Version 7 or Better
  • WebSphere Business Integration technologies- WESB (WPS and Broker), WAS andWID 7.0 & 7.5 (implementing SCA modules, MQ export etc.). 
  • Development experience in XSLT, XML, WSDL, as well as WESB, WID
  • BPM 8.5 Advanced Edition in production environment
  • WebSphere BPM 8.5 Ideally, 8.0 may be acceptable
  • BPM - BPD, Coaches, Dashboards (customization)
  • WebSphere Message Broker Development - Version 7 or later
  • WebSphere MQ  Development - Version 7 or later
  • Proficient in SOA architecture and standards
  • Knowledge of Oracle databases
  • Knowledge of SQL Server databases
  • SQL - Querying Capabilities
  • Use of Subversion for Source Code Control
  • Good Unix and Windows skills
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Ability to work with individuals from a variety of vendors
  • Willing to document/maintain requirements as needed to support project teams
  • Engage in testing activities/testing execution as necessary

 
Ability to Learn in these Areas:

  • MQFTE Administration, Design and Configuration
  • WebSphere Application Server Development - Version 7  or later
  • Java/J2EE Development - Version 6 or Better
  • Spring Framework
  • Struts Framework

 
Preferred Skills

  • SQL Server SSIS
  • SQL Server Analytics Services
  • SQL Server SSRS
  • Data Modeling
  • Knowledge of DB2 databases

Shift Requirements

  • 40 Hour Work Week, 8 AM to 5 PM with 1 hour lunch
  • Flex/Shifted hours may be requested, but require approval by Management.
  • Vacations of 1 week or longer must be approved by management at least 2 months ahead of time
  • Off-Hour and On-Call Support Expected.  On-Call Rotational Support of IT Systems required.  Average on call for a week at a time for about once in every 6-8 weeks
  • Time reporting required in multiple systems on a weekly basis
