Job: LAMP Developer w- Big Data
Duration: 8 month contract
Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL
Client is seeking to fill a Technical Lead position for our QA/QE Team, specializing in LAMP based systems and testing with possible Big Data experience. Strong understanding of unit/functional testing, integrated build and testing, and superior debugging capabilities in a complex QA environment are required. This position will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of integrated build and testing code, test harness/platform, and tools for Client's Software Quality Assurance/Quality Engineering Department. The candidate must also provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to LAMP test analysts and engineers.
Overall position requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or other science and/or engineering-related degrees.
Progressive and stable job history with minimum of 7 years of professional experience.
Good communicator, good verbal and written skills.
Able to juggle multiple simultaneous software development projects.
Must have taken BrainBench (or similar) and attained a strong rating/score (80%+).
Be able to design, code and test complex software solutions as needed by QA management.
Performs technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems.
Able to create integrated test code and related reporting, implement automated test platform and automated testing tools.
Candidate must also execute and report on testing results and perform required QA duties.
End to End testing of our Big Data implementation with web applications, services, databases, and environment along with other LAMP based systems.
