Project Manager – Property & Casualty Domain

Location : NYC, NY or Sims-bury, CT

Duration : 6 Months

 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

·         Strong project management skills

·         Strong written and oral communication skills

·         Strong property and casualty insurance domain knowledge and background

·         Personal lines insurance knowledge a plus

·         Experienced in successfully implementing admin and other insurance systems (application driven, portal delivery a plus)

 

Responsibilities:

·         Define the project charter

·         Define project plan and coordinate with project stakeholders

·         Day-to-day management of the project team including assignment of tasks including the full project lifecycle

·         Manage the project risks

·         Manage the project schedule

·         Manage the project budget

·         Manage internal and external dependencies

·         Manage third parties and vendors as required

·         Document project status and facilitate status meetings

·         Interact with external parties as needed to address project issues and dependencies including other project teams, vendors, infrastructure, BAU teams

·         Identify required resources and staff the team appropriately

 

Deliverables:

·         Current maintained project plan

·         Development and management of risk/issue logs, weekly status reporting to project team and PMO

·         Development and management of meeting minutes

·         Periodic reporting of actual costs vs budgeted costs and forecasts for the remainder of the project

·         Preparation of exhibits as per global processes
