Unix Syslog System Administrator

Location:  Sunnyvale, CA (F2F is Must)

Duration:  6+ months

 

Looking for  Sr.Unix/Linux Admin with solid Unix Syslog admin experience.  Also needed is good experience with Scripting (python or shells) for Automation and with SQL/HIVE to pull data, do queries and for consolidation of data.

·         Senior level Unix systems administration and command knowledge 

·         Syslog and application log analysis

·         Syslog NG

·         Large data set parsing in Hadoop and Splunk

·         Python and Bash scripting 

·         Excellent documentation skills 

·         Excellent communication and presentation skills

·         Excellent interpersonal skills
